Our take
I would choose Neighbor's Hotel Heiwa-Odori for a stay of several nights in Hiroshima, because every room has a kitchen and a washing machine. The city-centre location keeps the main sights within reach, and express check-in and check-out cut the wait on arrival. It is a base for living in the city, not a full-service hotel, and the 8.7 rating suggests guests see it that way.
- Take advantage of the in-room kitchen and washing machine for a more independent and cost-effective stay.
- Use the express check-in and check-out to save time and get straight to exploring Hiroshima.
- Explore the nearby Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which is just a short walk from the hotel.
