Our take
This aparthotel is ideal for families or business travellers seeking independence and comfort in Hiroshima. The inclusion of kitchenettes and washing machines in every room makes longer stays or trips with children much more manageable. While it offers a quiet retreat, its proximity to Hiroshima Station ensures easy access to the city's vibrant centre and historical sites. Those looking for full-service hotel amenities might find it too self-contained, but for a practical and well-located base, it's an excellent choice.
- Take advantage of the kitchenette to prepare some meals, especially if you're travelling with family.
- Utilise the washing machine in your room to keep your packing light and fresh throughout your stay.
- Explore the area around Hiroshima Station for dining and shopping options, all within easy reach.

Why guests love itGRAND BASE Hiroshima Ekimae is an aparthotel near Hiroshima Station where every family room has a kitchenette, a fridge and its own washing machine, which makes a longer trip with children much easier. Rooms are air-conditioned with private bathrooms, and there is a lift for strollers, free Wi-Fi and parking. Aeon Mall Hiroshima-Fuchu and Myoei-ji Temple are nearby. I would choose it over a standard hotel room for a family stay of several nights.
