Our take
I would choose New Otani Inn Yokohama Premium mainly for its position: a minute's walk from JR Sakuragicho Station and directly connected to the Colette Mare shopping centre. That combination makes arrivals, rainy days and evening errands simple. Rooms are modern with free WiFi, and the on-site restaurant adds convenience. Facilities beyond that are limited, so this is a well-placed hotel rather than a resort. The 8.5 score from over 1,700 reviews confirms it delivers on comfort and location.
- Take advantage of the direct connection to Colette Mare for convenient dining and shopping options.
- Use JR Sakuragicho Station, just a minute away, to easily reach Yokohama's key sights.
- Consider a room on a higher floor for potential city views and a quieter experience.
