Our take

BON Tokyo Kamata Parkside is four minutes on foot from Keikyu Kamata Station, where the Keikyu Airport Line branches off the main line, so Haneda's terminals are a direct train ride away. Each apartment has a kitchen with a full-size fridge and freezer, a stovetop, a microwave and cookware, plus a washing machine and a balcony, with a lift in the building. There is no on-site parking. An 8.8 average from 267 reviews is consistent. I would book it for the first or last nights of a trip through Haneda, or for a self-catering week; for nightlife in Shinjuku or Shibuya, it is a long way out.

  • From Haneda, check that your Keikyu train stops at Keikyu Kamata, where the airport branch joins the main line: the Airport Limited Express (Airport Kaitoku) runs through to Shinagawa without stopping there.
  • Kamata is Tokyo's home of hanetsuki, pan-fried gyoza joined by a crisp lacy wing: Ota City lists Nihao, Huan-Ying and Komparu among the shops near the station.
  • The stovetop and full-size fridge make a first-night supermarket shop worthwhile, which spares you a jet-lagged search for dinner after a late Haneda arrival.

Why we love it

  • Spacious aparthotel units with full kitchens
  • Private balconies with quiet street views
  • Convenient location near Haneda Airport
  • Washing machines in every unit
Why guests love it

BON Tokyo Kamata Parkside works well for families arriving or leaving through Haneda, which is only 4 km away. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine and a private bathroom, so meals and laundry stay simple with children, and the balcony looks over a quiet street. Local shrines nearby make easy short outings. I would book it for the first or last nights of a Japan trip, or for a longer self-catering stay in south Tokyo.
