Our take
Okayama Plaza Hotel is a three-star base whose best feature is practical: free bicycles, which make Okayama's flat centre and Kōrakuen Garden easy to reach without taxis. The restaurant serves an American breakfast, and a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping and room service cover the basics. A 7.6 score from 91 reviews says it is dependable rather than special. I would book it for a short city stay built around cycling, not for hotel facilities.
- Take advantage of the free bicycles to explore Kōrakuen Garden and Ujo Park at your own pace.
- Plan your mornings to enjoy the American breakfast offered at the hotel's restaurant.
- Utilise the 24-hour front desk for any local recommendations or assistance during your stay.
