Our take
I would book Hotel Pacific Kanazawa for its position between Omicho Market, Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden, all within a ten-minute walk. Bicycle rental extends that range further, and the coin launderette and free WiFi handle the basics. The bar is the only on-site option for drinks, so dinner means heading out to the market area. Allow about 15 minutes on foot from JR Kanazawa Station. A 9.3 rating from 2,246 reviews is excellent.
- Rent a bicycle from the hotel to explore the city's attractions at your own pace.
- Take advantage of the coin launderette for fresh clothes during your trip.
- Walk to Omicho Market in the morning for a fresh seafood breakfast.

Why guests love itLocation is the strength for families: Omicho Market is steps from the door, Kanazawa Castle about five minutes on foot and Kenrokuen Garden around ten, so short legs can cover the main sights without buses. Rooms are air-conditioned with a seating area. Bicycle rental suits older children, and a coin launderette helps on longer stays. The walk from JR Kanazawa Station takes about 15 minutes, so a taxi may suit heavy luggage. Guests rate it 9.3 from 2,246 reviews.
