Comfort Hotel Wakayama
Two minutes from JR Wakayama's central exit
Su questo soggiorno
Comfort Hotel Wakayama sits the closest to JR Wakayama Station's central exit of any property on this list, a two-minute walk that turns a delayed evening train into a minor inconvenience rather than a missed check-in window. Rooms include a flat-screen TV, an in-room kettle, original pillows for added comfort, and a private bathroom with slippers and a hairdryer. Free WiFi, a coin laundry and luggage storage cover the practical side of a longer trip, and complimentary breakfast runs at the hotel restaurant between 06:30 and 09:30 each morning. Kansai International Airport sits twenty-three kilometres away, reachable by a forty-five minute limousine bus to a stop ten minutes' walk from the property.

Il nostro parere
This is the strongest pick on this list for anyone whose priority is the shortest possible walk to JR Wakayama Station, particularly useful for an early departure or a late, delayed arrival off the Kisei Line. Couples rate the location highly here too, an 8.7 two-person score, though the room itself stays fairly compact and functional rather than offering resort-style extras beyond the basics.
- Book this property specifically if an early morning or late evening train connection is the priority for your trip.
- Use the on-site coin laundry for a multi-day stay rather than packing extra clothing for the whole trip.
- Confirm the airport limousine bus schedule ahead of time, since it runs on a fixed timetable from a stop a short walk away.
